Privacy policy
Translation for convenience. The German Datenschutzerklärung is the legally binding version.

The short version
This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no fonts or scripts from third parties on plain page views. Everything the editor demo does happens in your browser; images you drop into it never leave your device.
Hosting
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare processes the technical data your browser sends with every request (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) to deliver the page and to protect against abuse, and keeps aggregated traffic statistics without personal data. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a fast, secure website. Cloudflare acts as processor under its data processing addendum, including the EU standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the EU.
Local storage
If you switch the colour scheme, your choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key theme. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing site data removes it.
Editor demo
The editor on this page runs entirely in your browser, including the WebAssembly render core. Sample photos are served from this site. No image, edit log or hash is transmitted to any server from this page.
Purchases
Seats are sold through Paddle, our online reseller and Merchant of Record: Paddle.com Market Limited, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom, or Paddle.com Inc., 3811 Ditmars Blvd. #1071, Astoria, New York, NY 11105-1803, USA for buyers in the United States.
Paddle is the seller and decides on its own how it processes your data for that sale, as a controller in its own right and not as our processor. To conclude the purchase, issue the invoice and handle VAT, GST and sales tax, Paddle processes your name, email address, billing address, payment details and any tax identification number you give. Paddle’s Privacy Policy applies to that processing, and its Buyer Terms to the purchase.
From Paddle we receive your name, email address, company, billing country and the seats you bought, so that we can grant the license, assign the seats and provide support. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) b GDPR. We keep this for the term of the license plus the statutory retention period for commercial records (ten years, § 147 AO). We do not receive your payment details.
The United Kingdom is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Where Paddle.com Inc. in the United States is the seller, Paddle states the transfer safeguards it relies on in its privacy policy.
Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your message and address to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) b or f GDPR. Emails are deleted when the matter is closed, unless retention periods apply.
